Born from more than six decades of craftsmanship and care, The Kannas is the latest chapter in a story that began with our Chiang Mai family’s passion for furniture and real estate — passed down over three generations. In February 2018, our dream took shape in the form of a warm and welcoming space that combines the comfort of a serviced apartment with the charm of a mini community mall.

Excellent facility for your time in Chiang Mai. Great location. The staff there are fantastic. Very friendly & helpful.
We had a month long stay at the Kannas in June/July 2023 and really enjoyed our time at the Kannas. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Because I only speak basic Thai phrases, the staff was great in helping me make restaurant reservations and more complicated travel plans within the city. The hotel is in a safe part of the city and we would walk to several of the local markets. There are several food vendors and a mini-mart on the hotel grounds. The hotel is also just a few minutes by Grab taxi to the Maya Mall, Central Festival Mall, airport, and Old City. We had a two room suite for our family of four. Very clean and it included a laundry washing machine and dishes and silverware. The rooms are also spacious for an extended stay. We were on the 6th floor and enjoyed a nice view of the city and nearby mountains.
Excellent experience with the Kannas and the staff helped make our time in Thailand very positive and memorable.

Clean, practical, modern
I was impressed by how practical the facilities in the room are. Quality of furniture and appliances is high, and the overall decorations are modern and clean. The Aircon is very reliable and efficient. This accommodation is a service apartment and rents out as a hotel, and there was not many tourists/guests compared to usual hotels. Staff are professional and very helpful. Check in and check out are seamless. Plus point is air purifier provided in the room as the air quality is important in the area. Another nice thing is a large window that can be opened for fresh air. Staying here feels private yet intimate and cosy.

As much as we love pets and are pet parents ourselves, we regret to inform you that pets are strictly not allowed due to health and safety reasons for all guests.
Can I smoke inside the room ?
Unfortunately, all apartments are entirely and strictly non-smoking. Violation shall be subjected to a 5,000THB fine.
Is The Kannas walkable distant from Nimmanhaemin Road ?
Unfortunately, even though we are only 30-minutes walk away from Nimmanhaemin Road, it is highly not recommended as the walkway are not as accessible. However, we are more than happy to assist you with Grab car (taxi) calling, free of charge whereby the travel fee starts from only 60 THB
